Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive advice on private client matters, including wills, trusts, and estate planning.
  • Draft and prepare legal documents, including wills, powers of attorney, and trust deeds.
  • Manage probate and estate administration, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  • Advise clients on tax implications, inheritance tax, and estate planning strategies.
  • Assist clients with elderly client care and asset protection matters.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met with empathy and professionalism.
  • Contribute to the firm's business development activities and marketing initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Qualified solicitor with a valid practising certificate.
  • Relevant experience in private client work, including wills, trusts, and probate.
  • Strong knowledge of inheritance tax and estate planning strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and meet deadlines.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality legal services.
Desirable:
  • STEP qualification or willingness to pursue it.
  • Experience dealing with high-net-worth clients and complex estate matters.
