Management Accountant/Bookkeeper

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bookkeeper/Management Accountant to join our team on a part-time basis. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely financial information to support business decision-making.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping, with excellent Excel skills and the ability to work independently. You will be responsible for processing purchase invoices, preparing and processing bank payments, and maintaining accurate financial records.
You will also be responsible for liaising with external third parties, including outsourced payroll providers, and assisting with the preparation of financial forecasts and management reports.
Key Responsibilities- Process purchase invoices and prepare and process bank payments
- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Liaise with external third parties, including outsourced payroll providers
- Assist with the preparation of financial forecasts and management reports
- Collate information for management reports and other ad hoc reporting
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Bookkeeper/Management Accountant who is able to work independently and as part of a team. You will have a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping, with excellent Excel skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
The ideal candidate will have at least 12 months experience in a similar role and be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week. You will be based in our office in Bishop's Stortford and will be required to work flexible hours.
