We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper/Management Accountant to join our team at The Dove Partnership. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely financial information to support business decision-making.
The ideal candidate will have at least 12 months of experience in bookkeeping and management accounting, with strong Excel skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. You will work closely with our Finance Director and other commercial teams to prepare financial forecasts, manage accounts, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and manage financial reports, including monthly management accounts and annual financial statements.
- Process purchase invoices, prepare and process bank payments, and manage credit control.
- Collate information for management reports and other ad-hoc reporting.
- Liaise with outsourced payroll providers to ensure timely salary payments.
- Prepare P&L and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist other team members as required.
We are looking for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to build strong relationships with colleagues and external partners.
The role offers flexible hours, with a requirement of around 20 hours per week. You will be based in our Bishop's Stortford office and will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive team.
