About the Role
Sue Ryder St Johns Hospice is a leading provider of palliative and end-of-life care in the community. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with individuals and their families to provide high-quality care and support.
- Carry out essential duties within your scope as agreed in the care plan to ensure the best possible experience for our patients.
- Work to maintain the highest standards of infection prevention and control at all times.
Requirements
- An NVQ and/or QCF Level 2 qualification (or the willingness to gain this) to demonstrate your clinical skills and knowledge.
- Experience of working in a team environment to provide excellent care and support.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Word, the internet, and email to effectively communicate with colleagues and patients.
- Strong communication skills and an empathetic approach to provide emotional support and care to our patients and their families.
