Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at an 'Outstanding' Ofsted rated school in Portsmouth, Hampshire.

About the Role:

  • Support students with Autism and Complex Needs, including SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) needs.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to provide a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery, and provide individualized support to students as needed.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant or equivalent qualification.
  • GCSEs in English and Maths.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with children.
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training or willingness to complete.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary range of GBP 85.10 - GBP 98.20 per hour.
  • A full-time contract with 32.5 hours per week.
