Job Summary:

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a secondary school near Rowlands Castle. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, as well as those with Autism, ADHD, Attachment Disorders, Anxiety, and Speech and Language delay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work under the guidance of a teacher to support small groups of pupils with learning tasks.
  • Support children's emotional wellbeing and communication skills.
  • Ensure the welfare and safety of pupils at all times.
  • Work with pupils across Key Stages 2-4.

Requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
  • DBS registered to the update service or willingness to apply for one with GSL Education.
