We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our Medical Education Team at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the Medical Education Team, including answering queries, problem-solving, and progress chasing.
- Assist with the organization of educational events and training programs, including coordinating logistics and communicating with stakeholders.
- Administer study leave and other administrative tasks related to medical education.
- Provide personal assistant support to the Associate Dean for Speciality Doctors.
- Work collaboratively with the Medical Education Coordinators to ensure the smooth operation of the Medical Education Centre.
- GCSE English Language, Grade C or above/NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)
- Word processing skills - OCR II (or equivalent RSA II)
- Minimum 6 months secretarial/administrative experience
- Experience of working in a customer-focused environment
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Qualification or appropriate training in Customer Service
- ECDL
- NHS Experience
- Experience of working in an educational setting
- Access to the NHS Pension Scheme
