Job Description:
Project Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a large-scale construction project in the Harrogate area. The project involves extensions, cut & carve, structural works, and refurbishments, with a total value of £10M.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Implementation: Lead the planning and implementation of contract works, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
- Team Management: Coordinate and supervise construction teams and subcontractors, maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
- Stakeholder Management: Ensure continuous communication with stakeholders, including clients and design teams, to ensure project requirements are met.
- Contract Management: Manage and resolve any contractual issues that may arise, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience at a Project Manager level, with experience working for a construction main contractor and on education or assisted living projects.
- Project Management: Proven track record of managing large-scale projects up to the value of £10M.
- Site-Based Role: Ability to be site-based Monday to Friday, with strong leadership and negotiation skills.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with experience being involved in the design aspect of the project.
