Project Manager Job Description

Piksel Group is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing customer requests across our portfolio of services, including Wireless, WAN & LAN services, IAAS, VOIP, and ICT.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Satisfaction: You will be accountable for the on-time, on-budget delivery of projects to our customers' satisfaction, ensuring our business becomes a trusted partner to all our customers.
  • Initiate & Plan: You will agree and document project scope, produce the project plan, and identify the available budget. You will provide clear identification of the four main sections: initiation, planning, execution, and closure.
  • Resource: You will secure and assign the right resources to the right tasks, ensuring colleagues and key stakeholders understand their role and responsibilities, what they have to deliver, and by when.
  • Delivery & Escalation: You will ensure assigned project resources and key stakeholders deliver their project responsibilities on time, escalating items meeting the threshold using the appropriate escalation method and communication plan.
  • Communication & Reporting: You will ensure project deliverables, task deadlines, and milestones are clearly understood by all stakeholders, providing accurate written project updates as required.
  • Wellbeing: You will risk assess the workload of yourself and others, identifying solutions and supporting direct reports and colleagues in times of need.
  • Personal Development & Innovation: You will identify opportunities to contribute to wider business initiatives, highlighting current operational challenges and offering solutions.

Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Customer-focused.
  • Professional, positive, confident, and friendly.
  • Highly self-motivated.
  • Ability to work well under pressure within a busy environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Committed to delivering high-quality work.
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, time management, organizational, and administrative skills.
  • Office 365 applications, including Planner.
  • Data entry and management with any line of business tools, although Dynamics 365 would be an advantage.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Previous Project Management experience, ideally in a managed service organization.
  • Experience of managing customer relationships and issues.
  • Delivery of VOIP, IAAS, Cloud-Based Services, Wi-Fi, MPLS WAN, LAN, or combinations of all services.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience of working within a managed service organization.
  • Demonstrate a structured project approach.
  • Knowledge of agile and hybrid project methods.
  • Detailed infrastructure migration knowledge.
