Job Title: Quality Placement Coordinator

Maze 8 Solutions Ltd is seeking a highly organized and communicative Quality Placement Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for co-ordinating high-quality work placement opportunities for learners on 16-19 study programmes.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain relationships with employers to secure high-quality work placements for our students.
  2. Conduct health and safety audits and risk assessments at potential or new placement providers.
  3. Meet deadlines reliably and work to a high standard, maintaining full confidentiality about all college matters at all times.
  4. Co-ordinate work experience systems and processes, meeting the requirements of 16-19 study programmes.
  5. Provide placement presentations for cohorts where requested.
  6. Liaise with subject area managers, teaching staff, and assessment teams to ensure that work placements provide appropriate opportunities for learners to develop and be assessed in both core employability and technical skills relevant to that industry or vocational sector.
  7. Keep and maintain a database of past, current, and potential work placements and monitor learners whilst they are on work experience placements.
Requirements:
  1. The ability to travel from time to time to all the College centres and to other external venues.
  2. The flexibility to work for a defined number of hours per week, with the requirement to flex these hours to reasonably meet external needs which may include working evenings and weekends.
  3. A Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check is required for this post.
