We're seeking vibrant, ambitious, and passionate individuals to join our team as a Sales Assistant during the holiday season. As a Sales Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in boosting sales and ensuring the smooth operation of our store.

The Role

As a Sales Assistant, your primary mission is to help our customers discover and buy wines, beers, and spirits they'll love during the holiday season. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the store team in driving sales and ensuring the store's smooth operation.
  • Providing exceptional customer service, fostering loyalty, and repeat business.
  • Sharing your passion for our products with customers.
  • Maintaining the store's impeccable appearance.
  • Participating in all operational tasks required for the day-to-day running of the store.
  • Ensuring a safe working environment by following all internal policies and training.

Key Responsibilities

As a Sales Assistant, you'll be an ambassador for the store in which you work, supporting the team to deliver a bespoke holiday shopping experience for every customer. We're looking for individuals who can:

  • Drive store performance by embracing sales opportunities and exceeding targets.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, fostering loyalty and repeat business.
  • Share their passion for our products with customers.
  • Take pride in maintaining the store's appearance.
  • Participate in all operational tasks required for the day-to-day running of the store.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by following all internal policies and training.

Knowledge & Skills Required

We're looking for individuals with:

  • Excellent time management, delegation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Self-motivation, able to thrive when working alone and as part of a team.
  • A can-do attitude with a knack for solving challenges.
  • Adaptability and resilience to meet the ever-changing demands of our business.
  • Wine, beer, and spirits knowledge is a plus, but a passion for learning is essential.
  • A full UK/EU/EEA driving license for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
