About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our Columbia Retail team in Braintree, UK.

As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, advising customers on products, and driving sales engagement. You will be an ambassador of the Columbia brand, promoting our products and values to customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Advise customers on products, highlighting features and benefits, and making recommendations to meet their needs.
  • Drive sales engagement through visual merchandising, ensuring products are displayed in an attractive and appealing manner.
  • Assist with stock management, product deliveries, and maintaining store facilities.
  • Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with colleagues and management.
  • Contribute to the achievement of sales targets and company objectives.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in customer service and/or sales-oriented roles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good knowledge of the local language and English.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and credit transactions.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and bank holidays.
