As an Assembly Technician, you will be working on the Mechanical and Electrical assembly of Armoured Vehicles. Your tasks will include:

  • Assembly and integration of complex systems
  • Working from drawings and engineering instruction
  • Performing quality and performance testing
  • Other production tasks on high value hardware
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Assembly Technician, Armoured Vehicle Technician / Aircraft Assembly Technician, Mechanical Fitter or similar role.
  • Heavy/Large vehicle assembly experience
  • Strong mechanical bias
  • Ability to work Monday to Thursday at Merthyr Tydfil
  • Complete a week's training in Ampthill
About the Role

This is a 24-28 month FTC opportunity to join a leading aerospace and defence company. You will be working on-site in Merthyr Tydfil and will be required to obtain SC clearance.

The company offers a competitive salary of £33,250 to £34,250 per year and 37.5 hours a week. Fridays off are also included in the package.
