Assembly Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Searchability NS&D. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for the mechanical and electrical assembly of armoured vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and integrate complex systems using hand and air tools, Jigs, fixtures, and measuring tools.
  • Perform quality and performance testing to ensure high-quality products.
  • Work collaboratively with a team to achieve project goals.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Assembly Technician, Armoured Vehicle Technician, Mechanical Fitter, or similar role.
  • Heavy/Large vehicle assembly experience.
  • Strong mechanical bias.
  • Ability to work Monday to Thursday at our Merthyr Tydfil location.
  • Complete a week's training in Ampthill.
