About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Lockheed Martin. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for working on vehicle assembly and test, based out of our state-of-the-art facility in Merthyr Tydfil.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Completing set ups and performing quality and performance testing
  • Working from written instructions with limited supervision
  • Using hand tools and measuring equipment with high accuracy
  • Liaising with the test support, engineering and Quality functions

Requirements include:

  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Assembly Technician, Armoured Vehicle Technician / Aircraft Assembly Technician, Mechanical Fitter or similar role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to self-inspect work to ensure quality defects are mitigated
