Assembly Technician

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Searchability NS&D. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for the mechanical and electrical assembly of armoured vehicles.

  • Assemble and integrate complex systems
  • Work from drawings and engineering instructions
  • Perform quality and performance testing
  • Other production tasks on high-value hardware

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Assembly Technician, Armoured Vehicle Technician, Mechanical Fitter, or similar role
  • Heavy/Large vehicle assembly experience
  • Strong mechanical bias
  • Ability to work Monday to Thursday
  • Complete a week's training in Ampthill

About the Role

This is a 24-28 month fixed-term contract with a competitive salary of £33,250 to £34,250 per year. You will be working 37.5 hours a week with Fridays off. Ability to obtain SC clearance is essential.
