We are seeking an experienced Assembly Technician to join our team at Searchability NS&D. The successful candidate will be responsible for the mechanical and electrical assembly of armoured vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:- Assembly and integration of complex systems
- Working from drawings and engineering instructions
- Performing quality and performance testing
- Other production tasks on high-value hardware
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Assembly Technician, Armoured Vehicle Technician / Aircraft Assembly Technician, Mechanical Fitter or similar role
- Heavy/Large vehicle assembly experience
- Strong mechanical bias
- Ability to work Monday to Thursday at Merthyr Tydfil
- Complete a week's training in Ampthill
- Competitive salary of £33,250 to £34,250 per year
- 24-30 Fixed Term Contract
- 37.5 hours a week
- Fridays Off
- Ability to obtain SC clearance is essential
