Team Leader - Residential Childcare Service

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader within our Residential Childcare service. This position is perfect for individuals with prior experience in junior leadership roles in residential care who are looking to advance their careers.

We are a dedicated childcare organization that specializes in assisting children with complex needs, including challenging behaviors, emotional and behavioral difficulties, ADHD, and autism. Salary Range: £30, £33,176.00, plus additional compensation for sleep-in shifts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of support workers, providing guidance, and overseeing daily operations within the residential setting. There will also be opportunities to support and act in place of the Registered Manager when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of support workers.
  • Deliver ongoing training and support to team members.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team as necessary.
  • Engage directly with the children, serving as a positive role model.
  • Assist with administrative duties as directed by the home manager.

Essential Requirements:

  • A minimum of two years of experience in a leadership capacity within residential childcare.
  • Possession of a relevant Level 3 Residential Childcare Diploma.
  • A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
  • Legally authorized to work in the UK.
