Job Title: Mental Health Support Worker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to join our team at Gray Healthcare. As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting an individual with Organic Personality Disorder and dysarthria as a result of brain injury, who requires 2:1 support 24 hours a day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality support to the individual, promoting independence and well-being.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care and medication management.
  • Support the individual in accessing community resources and engaging in activities that promote social interaction and leisure.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor and report any changes in the individual's condition or behavior.

Requirements:

  • Full UK Driving License.
  • Experience in mental health care, ideally with individuals with Schizophrenia.
  • Ability to provide encouragement and support to individuals with complex health needs and Learning Disabilities.
  • Experience in implementing detailed care plans and risk assessments.
  • Current Right to Work in the UK and at least 6 months of employment in the UK.
