Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Youth Worker to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Youth Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to students in a SEMH secondary school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and group support to students in Key Stage 3 and 4
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Assist students with their academic and personal development
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and procedures
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to ensure up-to-date knowledge and skills

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in youth work or a related field
  • Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other support staff
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of SEMH and its impact on students
