Job Title: Youth Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Youth Worker to join our team at a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Salford. As a Youth Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting Key Stage 3 and 4 students across all subject areas.

Job Summary:

This is an excellent opportunity for Youth Work graduates to begin their career, providing support and guidance to students in a positive and diverse learning environment. You will work closely with the unit's committed faculty to promote the facility's values with dedication and empathy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support and guidance to students in a Pupil Referral Unit setting
  • Work closely with the unit's faculty to promote the facility's values
  • Support students in achieving their academic and personal goals
  • Develop and implement targeted interventions to support students' learning
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Experience working with SEN students
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to promoting the facility's values and supporting students' learning
