Sewell Wallis Ltd is currently collaborating with a prominent organization as they seek to appoint an Interim Financial Planning and Analysis Lead for a temporary engagement.

In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and oversee the commercial finance division, taking charge of the budgeting and forecasting processes for the organization. You will also play a significant role in transformational initiatives within the finance department.

This position offers a unique opportunity to engage with a company undergoing a significant transformation, where the successful candidate will be actively involved in key projects.

Your responsibilities will include high-level decision-making related to budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning, all within a collaborative and supportive work environment that fosters growth.

As the second-in-command to the Finance Director, you will lead a team of 13 finance business partners and FP&A analysts.

You will take charge of the Financial Planning and Analysis team, managing the monthly reporting and forecasting activities across all divisions, ensuring that all reporting and analysis is delivered with accuracy, insight, and timeliness.

In partnership with the Reporting Manager, you will provide insightful commentary on the consolidated financial results, delivering a top-tier finance business partnering service to Budget Holders, Senior Management, and Executive Teams.

Your role will also involve providing robust support to the Finance Director through the delivery of high-quality business and financial analysis, presenting clear rationales for change to ensure the effective and coordinated delivery of services across the organization.

We are looking for a results-oriented and highly motivated individual, qualified in ACCA, ACA, or CIMA, with the flexibility to travel as needed.
