About The Range:

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Shift Manager to join our team at our brand-new Distribution Centre in Stowmarket, Suffolk. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse staff, ensuring efficient inventory management, and driving process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations
  • Manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts and efficient stockroom operations
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity and efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals and objectives
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform business decisions
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a warehouse management role, with a strong understanding of inventory management and logistics
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
