We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Shift Manager to join our team at The Range's brand-new Distribution Centre in Stowmarket, Suffolk.
About the RoleThis is a permanent position offering an exciting opportunity to work in a progressive environment with a leading brand. As a Warehouse Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of 50 colleagues and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of First Line Managers and ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse
- Drive process change and improvements while maintaining Health & Safety as a priority
- Develop standard operational processes to optimize stock accuracy
- Work closely with peer groups, including inventory, H&S, planning, and HR Manager
- Achieve and exceed operational KPIs and collaborate with other departments on deviations and corrective action plans
- Support and identify process improvements while maintaining Health & Safety as a priority
- Shift handovers and staff engagement through pre-shift briefings and KPI displays
- Review performance and address underperformance through management intervention
- Set and drive critical tasks and measures through team review, business plans, and PDPs
- Notable experience of managing in a warehouse environment
- Warehouse systems knowledge, preferably with Red Prairie or Blue Yonder
- Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills for refining procedures and policies
- Strong team player and communicator with a strong work ethic and engagement enthusiast
- Excellent salary based on experience and qualifications

Initial telephone/skype interviews will be conducted by a member of the gap personnel team. Following this, successful candidates will be put forward for an interview with The Range and those selected will be offered a start based on availability.
