About the RoleAs a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out vehicle services and repairs, examining vehicles to diagnose non-routine defects, and reporting defects against Department of Environment (MOT) and Vehicle Safety Report (VSR) standards. You will also be expected to work efficiently, maintain your own productivity, and take responsibility for daily maintenance of tools and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out vehicle services and repairs in accordance with Lexus technical standards
- Examine vehicles to diagnose non-routine defects and report defects against Department of Environment (MOT) and Vehicle Safety Report (VSR) standards
- Work efficiently and maintain your own productivity
- Take responsibility for daily maintenance of tools and equipment
- Liaise with customers directly where relevant and appropriate
- Coach and support apprentice technicians
We are looking for a qualified Level 2/3 Vehicle Technician or Diagnostic Technician with previous work experience within an automotive repair environment. You must hold a Full UK Drivers Licence and have technical aptitude, process-driven, and a fast learner. You should be an organised individual with confident communication skills and a passion for problem-solving.
