Front Office Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Manager to join our team at Mercure Haydock Park Hotel. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our front desk, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and have a memorable stay with us.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the front office operation to maintain high standards of service and quality.
- Evaluate guest satisfaction and monitor trends to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure regular and VIP guests are recognized and that the front office department operates with a sales attitude and promotes our hotel brand's loyalty scheme.
- Maximize room occupancy at best rates and use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities.
- Monitor the appearance, standards, and performance of the front office team members with an emphasis on training and teamwork.
- Ensure team members have current knowledge of hotel products, services, pricing, and policies, as well as knowledge of the local area.
- Monitor staffing levels to meet business demands.
- Manage staff performance issues in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Recruit, manage, train, and develop the front office team.
- Previous experience in a front office or hotel operations role.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to work morning, afternoon, evening, and weekends.
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences all the time.
- Familiar with Property Management Systems On Q.
- Have branded hotel experience, with rooms and F&B experience.
