Hotel Operations Assistant
We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Hotel Operations Assistant at the Mercure Haydock Park Hotel. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where you will be responsible for assisting the Front Office Manager in overseeing the entire Front Office operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Front Office Manager in evaluating levels of Guest satisfaction and monitoring trends, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Ensure regular and VIP Guests are recognised and that the Front Office department operates with a sales attitude and promotes the hotel brand's loyalty scheme.
- Maximise room occupancy at best rates and use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities.
- Represent the senior managers in their absence, taking full responsibility of the hotel.
- Monitor the appearance, standards, and performance of the Front Office Team Members with an emphasis on training and teamwork.
Requirements:
- Experience in Front Office within the hotel, leisure or retail sector.
- Competent level of IT proficiency.
- Good communication and excellent grooming standards.
- Ability to work morning, afternoon/evening, and weekends.
