About the Role
NRG Executive is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Board Trustee to join our team at Impact Family Services.
Impact Family Services has been successfully supporting families for over 25 years, and we are looking to enhance our board of Trustees by recruiting several new Trustees who are committed to helping deliver our strategy and achieve future growth.
Our Achievements
We have made significant strides in supporting families, but we have much more to do Our team is passionate about education and will invest further in developing and delivering educational programs in businesses, communities, and in schools.
We will continue to deliver innovative art-based creative programs to help young children support their journey in having experienced conflict at home.
We will continue to support victims of domestic abuse and support them through their journey, and we will continue to support young people (12–18-year-olds) who have experienced abuse.
Our Team
We have an experienced and dedicated staff team whose knowledge, understanding, and expertise saves lives and positively changes family relationships. Our team is led by a highly experienced CEO and supported by a fantastic team of volunteers.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for candidates with the following characteristics:
- Demonstrable track record as a senior executive or business owner
- Highly respected in their field
- Excellent cross-sector networking and able to bring connections to the charity
- Strategic thinker with leadership skills
- A keen interest in supporting young people to achieve their potential
- The willingness to lead or support in subgroup activity
Desirable Skills
In addition, the following skills would be desirable but not essential:
- Experience as a Chair / Board Member / Trustee
- Specific skills in the areas of Education and Training, Marketing and Comms, HR, Health
Time Commitment
The Board holds meetings every 8 weeks, for up to 2 hours. The time commitment between calls and meetings is likely to average 0.5 days a month. This post is non-remunerated, but expenses may be covered.
