We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Manager to join our team at Turner & Townsend. As a Senior Cost Manager, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality cost management services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Cost Management: Develop and implement cost management strategies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Estimating and Cost Planning: Manage the estimating and cost planning stages, including presenting the final cost plan to the client.
- Tendering and Procurement: Tender for and procure projects, including managing the pre-qualification stage, producing the tender list, and compiling the contractual documents.
- Contract Administration: Conduct the role of contract administrator, including dealing effectively with post-contract cost variances and change control processes.
- Cost Allowances and Valuations: Take personal responsibility for peer reviewing cost allowances and carrying out valuations on larger projects.
- Final Accounts: Negotiate and agree final accounts with clients.
- Client Interface: Interface with clients, project managers, and other consultants at all project stages.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with Turner and Townsend's project management team during project delivery.
- Knowledge Management: Ensure that key information and learning generated from each commission is input into the Turner & Townsend internal database.
- Project Management: Manage projects on D365.
- NEC contract knowledge and experience, particularly Option C.
- Strong understanding of cost management principles and practices.
