Head of Operations Business Control

Mason Blake is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Head of Operations Business Control. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled individual to join our team and contribute to the success of our asset management house.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent the Operations department in management and oversight committees
  • Provide business partnering services to the business, ensuring efficient and effective operations
  • Lead and manage the Business Control team, implementing risk standards and key deliverables across Operations and Finance
  • Oversee Business Continuity Planning and operational resilience
  • Manage the Trade & Transaction Regulatory Reporting team
  • Monitor controls, actions, and issues from committees and audits
  • Promote a positive risk and controls culture within the business
Requirements:
  • Audit background in asset management
  • Experience working with Board and Executive stakeholders
  • Proven experience in regulatory roles within asset management operations
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the UK regulatory environment, including ICAAP
  • Ability to generate recommendations improving business processes

Candidates without asset management experience are not eligible for this role.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with strong regulatory experience in buy-side operations to join a thriving investments house.
