Logistics Planner for Night Operations

Pertemps Bond is seeking a dedicated Transport Planner to oversee our night operations from Sunday to Thursday, managing a fleet of drivers and vehicles during the night hours.

Salary: Up to £30,000 depending on experience.
Working Hours:
Sunday: 18:00 - 06:00
Monday - Thursday: 21:00 - 06:00
Comprehensive training will be provided during day shifts.
This is a permanent position with opportunities for career advancement.

Your primary responsibilities will include:
§ Maintaining daily communication with drivers to ensure all are accounted for and debriefed.
§ Regularly monitoring operational tools such as driver tracking systems.
§ Ensuring compliance with system usage among drivers and addressing any issues that arise.
§ Allocating driver resources effectively, which includes:
  • Coordinating with third-party contractors on-site, including subcontractors and maintenance teams.
  • Conducting end-of-day checks to secure all vehicle keys.
  • Notifying the team of any driver absences or vehicle off-road statuses.
§ Managing driver card and truck downloads.
