Transport Planner Night Shift

We are seeking a skilled Transport Planner to join our National Logistics client on a permanent basis, working a night shift schedule from Sunday to Thursday. This role offers a competitive salary up to £30k and opportunities for progression.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate effectively with drivers to ensure they are manifested and de-briefed daily.
  • Monitor operational tools, including driver tracking, and address any non-compliance issues.
  • Allocate driver resources to plan, liaising with third-party contractors and ensuring all drivers are logged on and using systems correctly.
  • Conduct end-of-day checks, including securing keys and communicating absences or VOR to the team.
  • Manage driver card and truck downloads.
Requirements:
  • Reliability and trustworthiness.
  • Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Decision-making skills and ability to work on own initiative.
