Craft Distilling Group is seeking a Compliance Manager to join our UK HQ in Richmond, London.

The ideal candidate will have a background in the world of investment, but we are open to different industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the company adheres to legal standards and in-house policies.
  • Manage the Regulatory Compliance and Financial Crime programs and team members for all companies within the CDG Group.
  • Provide remediation/mitigation plans, strategies and advise of potential new/emerging Compliance risks that require senior management attention.
  • Evaluate the efficiency of workflows and improve them continuously.
  • Revise procedures, reports etc. periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues.
  • Own the KYC Compliance process.
  • Draft, modify and implement company policies and training materials.
  • Collaborate with internal legal counsel and HR departments to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations.
  • Assess the business's future ventures to identify possible compliance risks.
  • Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control.
  • Prepare reports for senior management and external regulatory bodies as appropriate.
  • Assume the role as primary point of contact with regulatory bodies and government agencies on all Regulatory Compliance and Financial Crime matters in connection with both legal entities.
  • Training (or arrange training) staff in AML KYC checks.

Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the industry's standards and regulations.
  • Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping.
  • Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities.
