Job Title: Head of Finance Business Partnering

Join Aviva, a leading insurance and wealth business, as we seek a seasoned finance professional to lead our finance business partnering function. As Head of Finance Business Partnering, you will play a critical role in driving the commercial success of our Direct Wealth business, working closely with the Managing Director to deliver financial plans and strategies.

About the Role:

This is a senior leadership position that requires a strong finance background, commercial acumen, and excellent stakeholder management skills. You will be responsible for partnering with the CFOs of our subsidiary advice businesses to ensure seamless delivery of core finance deliverables and understanding their performance. Your team will work closely with the Head of Wealth Insights, Direct Wealth Commercial Director, and Head of Finance, Insurance Wealth & Retirement to drive business growth and transformation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the Managing Director to deliver commercial plans and strategies for the Direct Wealth business
  • Work closely with CFOs of subsidiary advice businesses to ensure frictionless delivery of core finance deliverables
  • Lead a team of finance partners to drive business growth and transformation
  • Develop and implement financial plans and strategies to support business objectives
  • Provide commercially focused, effective, and timely financial advice to leadership
Requirements:
  • Chartered accountant or equivalent via experience
  • Prior experience in a commercial finance role in the Wealth market
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Leadership experience, including delivering through a matrix structure
  • Financial and commercial competence, with experience of shaping strategy
