Job Title: Finance Business Partner

About the Role

As a Finance Business Partner, you will partner with specific teams to maximize financial performance, drive value for money, and support efficient awards management. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing financial decision support to programme teams, ensuring effective financial performance.
  • Delivering monthly financial reports and supporting regular business performance reviews.
  • Developing forecasts, budgets, and long-term financial plans for various global initiatives.
  • Supporting teams in building business cases and strategies, ensuring cost efficiency and optimal value for money.
  • Managing awards, preparing budgets, and delivering accurate financial reports.

This role involves collaboration with a variety of stakeholders and will require you to support a range of financial and strategic initiatives, ensuring that funds are utilized effectively to meet organizational goals.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a certified accountant with strong post-qualification experience, ideally within the non-profit sector. You will also need:

  • Experience providing finance business partnering support to senior management.
  • Proven ability to prepare management accounts and contribute to budgeting processes.
  • Experience in managing financial awards, including budget development and financial reporting.
  • Advanced Excel and strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills, with a keen ability to identify financial issues and provide strategic responses.
