Finance Business Partner Opportunity

Pear Talent is representing a globally recognized Financial Services business with an exciting opportunity for a Finance Business Partner in their head office.

This high-profile role involves regular senior leadership interaction and requires a strong finance professional to lead critical business performance insight and financial planning support to senior management, directly influencing the company's strategic decision making and driving business performance.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with a strong academic record and previous experience in a similar Finance Business Partner or FP&A role, ideally within Financial Services but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Understand the business, including markets, strategies, risks, products, and key drivers of performance.
  • Lead analysis of business financial performance, MI, forecasts, and contribute to regular monthly reporting to the group Exec.
  • Develop excellent MI reporting and tracking of strategic objectives using agreed KPIs.
  • Provide financial and commercial decision support papers for review by ExCo and senior leadership.
  • Manage budget, forecast, and planning process to monitor and predict financial performance.
  • Manage and develop relationships with the business, facilitating regular dialogue between business areas and Finance.
  • Develop team members, provide personal development opportunities, and ensure appropriate training and development plans are in place.
  • Analyse investment proposals, acquisitions, and corporate projects on an ad-hoc basis.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong academic record and previous experience in a similar Finance Business Partner or FP&A role, ideally within Financial Services but not essential.

A qualified accountant with excellent finance skills, business acumen, and strong communication skills is required to succeed in this role.
