As a Residential Property Assistant, you will be an essential member of our Recoveries division, aiding clients who are encountering challenges with residential property repossessions. Your collaboration with the team will ensure that clients receive exceptional service and that inquiries are handled promptly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a portfolio of cases from initial instruction to the finalization of each transaction or closure of our files, under the supervision of the Team Manager and Paralegals.
  • Performing specific fee-earning tasks under guidance, including: creating matters in our internal case management system; obtaining and processing official property documents and title deeds; reviewing property titles with assistance; liaising with relevant parties and keeping them updated on transaction progress; issuing contracts for sale and accompanying documents; conducting necessary checks with clients; ensuring timely receipt of all required documents and invoices for completion; facilitating completion; addressing routine inquiries and communications from clients (or their key suppliers); and undertaking general administrative duties, such as management information reporting to clients.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in recoveries or residential and leasehold sales is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Self-driven with an organized approach to tasks.

Work Environment:

This position offers flexibility, with options for hybrid working (minimum of two days per week in the office) or fully office-based arrangements.
