As a Residential Property Assistant, you will be integral to our Recoveries division, aiding clients who are encountering residential repossessions. Your collaboration with the team will ensure that clients receive exceptional service and that inquiries are managed effectively.
You will be part of a supportive environment, guided by your manager to help you advance your career in property law.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of cases from initial instruction to the finalization of each transaction or closure of our file, under the oversight of the Team Manager and Paralegals.
- Perform specific elements of fee-earning tasks under supervision, including: Creating matters in Casenet (our internal case management system); Acquiring and processing Official Copy documents and title deeds; Reviewing property titles with assistance; Communicating with other parties and keeping them updated on the progress of each transaction; Issuing contracts for sale and accompanying documents; Conducting necessary checks with clients; Ensuring timely receipt of all required documents and invoices to facilitate completion; Assisting with completion; Addressing routine inquiries and communications from clients (or their key suppliers); General administrative duties, such as MI reporting to clients.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in recoveries or residential and leasehold sales is preferred but not mandatory.
- A collaborative team player.
- A strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
- Self-driven with an organized approach to tasks.
Work Environment:
This position offers a hybrid work model (minimum of 2 days per week in the office) or can be fully office-based.
