Job Opportunity: Residential Property Solicitor

Oakwood Solicitors is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fee Earner to join our thriving Residential Property department.

We are looking to expand our team and are seeking a motivated and driven individual to work on a variety of residential property matters. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for the right person to grow and develop their skills, with autonomy and support from our experienced team.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a team of specialists in residential property law, handling a range of matters from instruction through to completion and post-completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handling residential sale and purchase, leasehold and freehold, and re-mortgage matters.
  • Dealing with new build properties and shared ownership.
  • Providing excellent service to a wide range of clients.
  • Working closely with other members of the team and assisting on more complex matters.
  • Experience of using case management systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent relationship skills and ability to build strong working relationships with clients and colleagues.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years' experience as a Fee Earner in residential property law.
  • Strong knowledge of property law, including leases and licence to assign.
  • Proven track record of providing excellent service to clients.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
