Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Manager to join our team. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of cleaning contracts, ensuring that our clients receive exceptional service and that our teams are equipped to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a mixed portfolio of cleaning contracts, including corporate, educational, and commercial sites.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Lead and motivate a team of Supervisors and Operatives, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and resources needed to succeed.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor service delivery and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement business growth strategies, identifying opportunities for expansion and improvement.
  • Manage budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring that contracts are profitable and that financial targets are met.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of managing multiple contracts and teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to manage budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Experience with health and safety regulations and procedures.
  • Ability to travel to different client sites on a daily basis, with a clean driving license.
