We are seeking an experienced Interim Finance Manager to join our client, a highly respected charitable organisation, on a full-time contract basis. The role will be based in Truro, with the option for flexible and hybrid working arrangements.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Finance Director to manage a team of 3-4 and ensure the high-quality day-to-day financial operations of the organisation. Key responsibilities will include:

  1. Maintenance and development of digital accounting platforms (Xero, Sage, and bespoke tools)
  2. Team management, mentorship, and development
  3. Adherence to charity reporting deadlines and procedures
  4. Partnership with colleagues and departments outside of finance to drive best practice
  5. Regular financial reporting and attendance at strategic and operational meetings
  6. Assistance with month and year-end procedures, annual audit, budgeting, and forecasting

Requirements

We are looking for an experienced Interim Finance Manager with a strong background in financial operations, team management, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
