Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Disability North. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of Layland, a 10-year-old boy with Autism, learning delay, and Pica.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing constant support to Layland during community visits, ensuring his safety and well-being at all times. You will work closely with Layland's family and other support staff to develop and implement a personalized support plan that meets his unique needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support to Layland during community visits, including soft play and trampoline parks
  • Ensure Layland's safety and well-being at all times, adhering to his personal behavior plan
  • Work closely with Layland's family and other support staff to develop and implement a personalized support plan
  • Support Layland in communicating his needs effectively

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

Permission to work in the UKA DBS checkReferences
