About the Role

MHR is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team and drive the success of our sales initiatives within the USME segment. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for achieving and exceeding annual sales targets by acquiring new business and fostering strong relationships with key clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Performance: Achieve contract revenues in alignment with the Company's Business plan, Commission scheme, and individual sales targets.
  • Market Knowledge: Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Payroll and Human Resources market, staying attuned to its culture, changes, and structure.
  • Product Expertise: Gain proficiency in our software, iTrent, and comprehend Managed Service delivery at all levels.
  • Sales Team Leadership: Drive the LME & Enterprise sales teams to execute effective sales activities, ensuring successful closure of new business sales.
  • Planning and Execution: Plan and present sales activities meticulously with appropriate support.
  • Documentation and Administration: Ensure all sales related documentation is prepared and dispatched to maintain accepted standards of continuity with prospects.
  • Pipeline Management: Generation and maintenance of the pipeline by the CRM system.
  • Contract Management: Ensure bid review and contractual paperwork is produced accurately and with the required approvals.
  • Market Analysis: Competitive activity, analysis, and feedback as and when required.
  • Market Awareness: Market and business awareness from reading articles, periodicals, and discussion.
  • Self-Generation and Management: Encourage self-generation and manage the pipeline with sufficient coverage to meet the business plan targets.
  • Opportunity Creation: Create an environment conducive to identifying and shaping opportunities with new prospects, employing a consultative value-based sales approach.
Requirements
  • Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Commercial Acumen: Commercially astute and polished with excellent oral and communication skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Software Solutions Background: Software solutions background with ability to close high-level business at board level.
  • Market Knowledge: Proven knowledge of the Payroll and Human Resources market.
  • Previous Sales Experience: Previous track record in application/solution and service sales.
  • Pipeline Management: Ability to self-generate and manage a pipeline with enough coverage to deliver the required number in the business plan.
  • Opportunity Creation: Ability to create and shape opportunities with new name prospects using a consultative value-based sales proposition.
  • Forecasting and Pipeline Management: Accuracy in forecasting and pipeline management.
