Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and capable transportation planner to join our team. As a Team Country Planner, you will be responsible for planning UK transport in a specialist sector, ensuring that logistics are efficient and cost-effective.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and optimize vehicle routes to meet customer service requirements
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation and ensure compliance
  • Manage driver hours, start and finish times, and route optimization
  • Ensure adequate resources are available, including drivers and transportation methods
  • Communicate with third-party subcontractors
  • Process departmental documentation and drivers' paperwork
  • Provide excellent customer service through timely responses to phone calls and emails

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role with a global company in a planning logistics network and fleet management
