The organization specializes in the development and production of cleaning solutions for both proprietary and third-party brands, as well as grocery private labels. They operate one of the largest cleaning product facilities in Europe.
Due to expansion, there is a need for a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Compliance Specialist. In this role, you will support the Head of R&D and assist the team in the development of new products, ensuring all necessary technical documentation is managed effectively and that the team is informed about product limitations and compliance requirements.
It is crucial for the organization to comply with all relevant chemical regulations, and this responsibility will fall under the purview of the Compliance Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation and submission of regulatory applications for biocidal products, REACh, and other relevant regulations.
- Manage global biocidal regulatory authorizations, renewals, and applications for exemptions, including thorough analysis of extensive regulatory texts to extract essential information.
- Support the team with compliance-related tasks.
- Represent the company’s stance on pertinent regulatory issues.
A degree in a Chemical or Scientific discipline is preferred. Candidates with experience in regulatory matters and a comprehensive understanding of dossier submissions are encouraged to apply.
Experience in the household or personal care sector is highly desirable, although candidates from similar industries such as chemical manufacturing will also be considered.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Regulatory Affairs or a related field.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with a professional telephone demeanor.
- Degree-level education in a scientific subject is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Regulatory certifications or accreditations would be advantageous.
