Baxter is seeking an experienced EHS Advisor to join our team in Thetford. As a key member of our EHS team, you will provide critical support to all aspects of the facility, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and manage EHS programs, including environment, workplace safety, industrial hygiene, and ergonomics
- Develop and deliver EHS training programs to ensure compliance with ISO14001 and ISO45001
- Conduct audits, inspections, and monitoring to ensure compliance with procedures, legislation, and safe working practices
- Collaborate with the EHS and Purchasing teams to identify opportunities for improvement in productivity, quality, cost, delivery, and safety
- Experience in workplace risk assessments, internal audits, and accident/incident investigation
- Knowledge of emergency response plans, practices, and drills
- Ability to work with facility services, such as security, canteen, hygiene, waste disposal, recycling, and garden maintenance
