We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Social Worker to join our Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children's Service in Kent. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing support and accommodation to newly arrived unaccompanied asylum-seeking children in Kent.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to newly arrived unaccompanied asylum-seeking children and provide them with the necessary support and guidance.
- Work closely with other agencies and partners to ensure the best possible outcomes for the children in our care.
- Develop and implement effective social work plans to meet the needs of the children and their families.
- Provide regular updates and reports to management and other stakeholders.
- A competitive basic salary between £32,933 and £43,592 dependant on your experience.
- A minimum of 29 days annual leave allowance, rising to 30 days after 5 years service.
- Up to £2,000 car market premium.
- £3,000 annual market premium.
- £3,000 golden hello (welcome) payment.
- Relocation packages up to £8,000.
- Excellent local government pension scheme.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A degree in Social Work or a related field.
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Experience working with children and families in a social work setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality social work practice.
