As a Social Worker in this service, you will have the opportunity to work with a niche group of young people, responding to their needs and ensuring their voice is heard.

Our service is committed to providing high-quality support, and we are seeking passionate Social Workers to join us on this journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support newly arrived unaccompanied asylum-seeking children in Kent
  • Work with a variety of scenarios and use your Social Worker theories and tools to achieve the best outcomes for vulnerable children
  • Develop skills in age assessments, working with children in care, managing child protection concerns, and interagency working with key partners

Our Offer

  • Competitive basic salary between £32,933 and £43,592
  • Annual Leave allowance of 29 days rising to 30 days after 5 years service

Requirements

  • Command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements

  • Registration as a qualified Social Worker with Social Work England
