About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and safety-conscious individual to join our Event Day Steward team at London Stadium. As an ambassador for the venue, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests, while providing an exceptional matchday experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with ground regulations and safety certificates, preventing unauthorized entry into the venue.
  • Control and direct spectators, monitoring crowd movement and preventing overcrowding.
  • Communicate clearly with spectators, managing conflict and queue management.
  • Identify and report potential hazards, carrying out safety checks.
  • Staff entrances, exits, and secure gates while the ground is in use.
  • Undertake specific duties in an emergency or as directed by the Safety Officer.
  • Accurately describe and record incidents for future reference.
Requirements

You must hold a Level 2 (or equivalent) in Spectator Safety qualification to be considered for this role. Suitable candidates should be smart, friendly, and confident when dealing with members of the public.

Benefits

We are a Living Wage Employer, paying at least the London Living Wage with a minimum shift of six hours. We pay our casual workers fortnightly, and you can pick and choose shifts on your availability.
