Job Summary

We are seeking highly motivated and customer-focused individuals to join our Event Day Steward team at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. As an Event Day Steward, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests, while providing an exceptional matchday experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Safety and Security: Ensure compliance with conditions of entry, prevent unauthorized entry, and monitor crowd movement to prevent overcrowding.
  • Customer Service: Provide a best-in-class service to fans and guests, ensuring their safety and security at all times.
  • Communication: Clearly communicate with spectators, manage conflict, and queue management.
  • Incident Reporting: Accurately describe and record incidents for future reference.
  • Technology and Equipment: Confidently use technology and equipment supplied by management, such as radios, megaphones, and wands.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Hold a Level 2 (or equivalent) in Spectator Safety qualification.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Be smart, friendly, and confident when dealing with members of the public.
  • Commitment: Commit to working 80% of events at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and complete any additional training required.
